Meet The Team

Dr. Ragland attended the University of the Pacific on a football scholarship after playing both football and baseball in Rancho Cordova, CA.   He graduated from the University of California, San Francisco in 1987 and began his professional dental career in South Sacramento.  For over fifteen years he was involved in community activities both professionally and personally.  He provided dental screenings to students in elementary, middle and high schools affording him opportunity to provide dental education to both students and parents. 
 
Dr. Ragland learned commitment to community service through the many mentors who influenced his own life and career.  He learned the importance of “each one, teach one” in order to make sure the next generation has the necessary mental balance and humble spirit to keep and maintain dental healthcare at the forefront of the population he serves. 

In addition to dentistry in California for over 20 years in private practice, he has practiced in Las Vegas, Nevada, Nashville, Tennessee and Little Rock, Arkansas.  In Tennessee, where he was born, he took on corporate dentistry.  This new and rewarding experience allowed him to serve parts of the dental community that are often overlooked due to location, cost, lack of access to dental care and other life changing events that make getting quality care difficult. 

Dr. Ragland is proud of his three children who grew up in Elk Grove, attending and graduating from local high schools.  Dr. Ragland also is very grateful to a mother who supports and encourages his family with love, wisdom and stability every day. 
 
In his leisure time, Dr. Ragland enjoys travel and golf.  He says of his future, “I may become more proficient at pickle ball or playing cards before my dental career comes to an end, however, it is for sure my passport will have many more stamps.”

Dr. Juarros graduated from Loma Linda University Dental School in 1992. He has successfully practiced in Elk Grove for over 20 years and expanded to Carmichael in 2010.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Sacramento District Dental Society.

Doctor Juarros trained with Advanced Dental Implant Research and Education Center and received his certificate in July of 2016.

He is certified in Orthodontics, with extensive education in children's facial development and jaw growth.

Dr. Juarros grew up in the Sacramento area. He is a strong believer in giving back to the community. He volunteers his time and experience to Smiles for Kids, an organization that provides dental care to uninsured and underserved children.

In his leisure time Dr. Juarros enjoys scuba diving, traveling with his wife and their kids, cooking, and riding his Harley motorcycle.
